At times we think we have life all figured out to a T and what's meant to be should of already happened, but as always life constantly has some interesting surprises awaiting us. Meet Reece and Vaugnh. Reece is a 30 year old lawyer who has accomplished a lot throughout her life despite the odds and is hell bent on things going her way. It's either her way or the high way pretty much and she does not take the word no for an answer. She likes her life the way it is and has no plans on changing it. Then there's Vaughn aka Vinny as his friends call him. He's a 30 year old single father and is a no nonsense type of man. His main priority is his daughter first and foremost then his business. Vaughn is a street dude who taught himself how to flip street money and turn legit. He is single but secretly desires a woman who will do right by him especially after being done dirty in his past but let him tell it, love is the furthest thing from his mind. When these two cross paths, will they change each other's minds about life or will getting to know each other just solidify their view of this crazy universe. I present " This Thing Called Life".

"I brought you here because I wanted to ask you something really important." He said and I smirked, knowing what he was going to ask me. "What is it?" He sighed and ran his hand through his hair again. "After last night, which was amazing, it got me thinking. What exactly are we?" I look at all the men in the group who had their jaws dropped, all except for one, "Touch me one more time, and I'll brake your arm in two." I stand and kick his back so he falls on the concert. "Anyone else?" they stare at me blankly. "Didn't think so." When fuck boy tries to get up, I take my foot and slam him back down. Looking back at the boys, I say, "Later boys." When we're young we don't seem to think about all the things that could go wrong. At-least Blair Rivera didn't. She once believed that if you're a good person you get to live a full life, and maybe part of her still believed that. Well, that was until she found out she has a brain tumor.
