Short, sarcastic, and sassy are three words to describe Avery Walker. Actually more like Ricky Walker.

She's not a girly girl, nor is she a tomboy, she's somewhere in between.

It's the start of junior year at Anderson High School. A year for Avery to get out of her comfort zone and try new things along with the help of her 3 best friends, Jonah, Trey, and Alyssa. The year is off to a great start until one night at a basketball game that changed her life. When a small encounter with one of the school's most popular jocks makes her feel emotions she's never felt before, will she learn to adapt to his unwinding past, or find a way to get away from a potential life changing relationship?

Follow the adventurous relationship of outgoing Avery Walker and popular Nathan Bixbe through the struggles of love, hate, and lots of sarcasm.
