Far, far way in land of the minds of young children lives a different world of our own. Wolves ravage the woods at night, witches cackle in the moon, sorcerers cast spells on unsuspecting pedestrians, dwarves dig through mines, kings and queens sit on top of thrones of gold, and all of these mystical persons heirs… well, they are sent to Ever-After-High.
Ever-After-High: the number-one recommended high school for the heirs of fairytales to live out several years of their lives, waiting to take on the same destinies as their parents did.
Generations of students have attended the academy, each taking on their destiny without a second thought, thinking that there was no other choice. But of course, there is always another choice. And one young student decides to stray away from her destiny: Raven Queen –daughter The Evil Queen, the protagonist in most fairytales. In the midst of Raven going against the system, other’s decide to follow and chose their own destiny, all with their own specific, and even mysterious, reason. But one other character, Apple White –along with several of her other friends –disagree with going against the system; thus, the school is split into two sections: The Royals –students who want to follow their destiny and to whatever path they are chosen too, and the Rebels –students who want to choose their own destiny and not follow a predetermined fate. Both equally determined to go their way, and both with their own array of students. Who will get their way?
