After an eventful second year, Milo Fleamont Potter was looking forward to the summer, extra time to spend with his brother and bond. However, Harry doesn't return a single letter, leaving his older brother discouraged and somewhat bitter. When the Weasley twins invite him over for a little summer fun, the twins introduce him to a very special item that unbeknownst to all of them is a part of Milo's family history and his own legacy. He feels a special connection to it and begins to unravel the secrets behind it.
But as he returns to Hogwarts, he learns why Harry hasn't responded to his letters and if there wasn't enough drama centered having Gilderoy Lockhart as the new Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor, the students and professors of Hogwarts learn that the Chamber of Secrets has been opened.
