An exchanged student from Adelaide, Amanda Stewart with her average look but outstanding aptitude who always fails in building relationship receives an opportunity to go to the sleepless city, New York (NY).

And there's this childhood friend named Jake, the average student with nerdy look who has always been there for Amanda secretly falls in love with her. 

The unfortunate events happen before Amanda's departure to NY when she realized that she's in love with her childhood friend. But as she arrives in NY, everything changes since she meets the son of the host family she's staying with, the typical jerk with perfect look and reputation.
