Just a quick shot at a story based of an AU (alternate universe) I came across online. It has been a while since I've written anything so this is probably going to be very dodgy. Oh well, enjoy.
Its' the year 3156. I know what you're probably thinking, does humanity finally live among artificial intelligence? Are there flying cars? Has the world finally rid itself of sickness and disease? Have we inhabited Mars? Well, you're wrong. The world has not changed much since the 21st century. No, we haven't changed....but space has. The world is still corrupt with war and greed, but now we face a greater threat....Space sirens. Join the adventure of two Astrobiologists and two highly trained astronauts on their adventure through space and the fight to secure the Earth and humanity's future.

100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. The Perfect Human
This book is is written in the far future were war is raging throughout the world permanently halting all innovations. Humanity wanting to finally bring it all to an end only finds one way to solve it. End humanity as we know it. Governments across the globe found that humanity wasn't what it was before and had become dark and terrible to live in, so to fix that they made a small utopia pulling in families, scientists, and important government officials to create the perfect pair of humans. Those two humans would be trained to kill what humanity has become and start it all over, so the world would be a better place. But once they make the female, they find that she is not like her partner. She has a different goal in mind than restarting humanity. This is my first book, so it may have a few mess ups but I hope you enjoy, I have worked hard to at least get this out. Everything is going on well on both earths, advanced war powers, new research, science and technology advancing everyday. 8 year old Gray Jackson lives on earth 2, and after something happens to Gray and her new best friend Terk, they both go missing for 7 years, before they come back to home. Then another accident happens in Grays life and so many things happen to Gray and her friend, she needs help by going to another earth, are earth.Complete

The human race was able to flee from the foreign infection, but for how long? Luna was frozen on the ship. For nearly a 200 years, their ship had traveled. Many people had been placed in a cryogenic state. That of which kept them from aging as they made their way out of the infection. For them, a place of safety, The Solar Sun. The Solar Sun space ship was the closest landing unit in the solar system. Many others would have to be traveled to after refueling and preparing for another two or three centuries of being in a cryogenic state. For Luna, the girl hopes that space would be her escape from the aliens that destroyed their Earth, but that was only the beginning. Upon arrival, the ship is found infested. Luna and a small team of scientists had come in hopes for finding a cure for the strange virus, only to find the virus had taken over most of The Solar Sun, following a few escaped Irinauts. Humans are quite possibly the lowest level of life from what I can tell. They just come and go as they please, destroy what they please, and contain unknown beings like me for "the safety of humanity." Yeah, right. And they're also pretty stupid, judging from how easy it was to break free from those foundation fools holding me captive. Its been two thousand years since humanity lost their home planet and a thousand since they first made landfall on the world they now call home. The trip was long and fraught with danger but they managed to survive in no small part to the new gods they found along the way. The Celestial Court granted life to various forms of variant human species, sculpted to perfection as the next evolution for mankind. After a thousand years however humanity finds itself on the edge of collapse, as technology from the old world breaks down more and more the people of the new world are regressing into a more feudal state of living. As technology declines and degrades, magic and the supernatural has become the norm. Conflicts are on the rise between the different factions of the Celestial Empire all while the gods themselves watch from above silently. In one small corner of the Empire rests the Black Coast, home to the mysterious and ostracized race known as the Twins. It is in this quiet place that a set of triplets will determine the fate of not just the Empire, but the world as a whole for decades to come. --- This is a book I've been working on for a few years when I have the time. Due to my dyslexia there are grammar/editing errors from time to time. I am hard at work trying to polish the book as I do my big round of editing prior to publishing online. Everyone was evacuated from the home planet over 150 years ago. Our planet was dying, it was only a matter of time before our race was wiped out. We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth.
