This is a short story in the epistolary form about a young man on a voyage plagued by spirits. The Scotsman is a member of the nobility serving His Majesty the King in exploration and discovery of the unknown lands for knowledge and expansion of the British Empire. He instead continually occupies a state of liminality between the harsh physical world and the powerful spiritual sphere. His constant desires for companionship in his aching loneliness are met by spirits, ghouls and a peculiar young lady.All Rights Reserved

At first, Michael is terrified that she will kill him, put once he stays there for just long enough she explains everything. Michael is a brave angel with special abilities. Shanna is the daughter of Satan. They are worlds apart and seem all too different. (BTW i wrote this when i was twelve and IT'S TERRIBLE. just... warning you... *sits in a corner, regretting all my life decisions*)

She can never go outside the palace, she can never have friends, she can never eat or say or wear whatever she wants and she can never choose the person she is going to marry. Soon she's getting married to a man she has never met, a prince rumored to be Son of the Devil. *Mature content.
