The Parisville Ravens were the worst. They were a strong volleyball powerhouse that went to nationals many times. But they soon lost their confidence and drive to play. Their coach left them for a larger school and their captain quit playing to work at a convenience store around the corner.

Out of the twenty teams in Area VI of Eastern Texas Men's High-school Volleyball, they were at the very bottom of the list.

They were known as "The Fallen Ravens".

Enter Blake Davis. A freshman wing spiker, with a fire burning for volleyball. His first year starts out great. He was voted to Captain of the JV team. But things soon started going downhill, and fast. He ends the year with his team having the worst record in the history of Raven Volleyball. So down goes the Junior Team funds. Hopefully next year will be better, but the rumors say that the Varsity team is just as bad.

Enter four new freshmen, some of whom are very interested in what used to be a powerhouse school. They have seen the national matches and have always wanted to wear the black and purple colors of the Ravens. However, the Junior team has lost all funding, so freshmen are now allowed on the Varsity team. The only true player on the varsity team is the captain, who is also the ace.

Will things be as bright and awesome as they were a few years ago?

Or will the Ravens keep falling until they hit the ground?

"That's not something you mess around with." I say to her and she just rolled her eyes. "It's not like he's going to fall for it anyway." She looked at her baby pink nails. "Then why do you-" "Because," She snapped looking away from her nails to me. "He needs to know how it feels to fall in love and then have your heart ripped out of your chest and just feel like you're dying inside." She clenched her fingers into a fist. "Plus you don't believe in love anyway so it should be a piece of cake to keep your end unattached." "Yeah whatever." Monica Roth wasn't exactly the new girl but she wasn't exactly popular either. Her best friend Destiny Hamilton was a cheerleader but wasn't exactly in on the it crowd. They both seemed to keep to each other until one day the head cheerleader Madison Valentine comes up to Monica asking her a favor. A favor to play a game with the school's newest hottie. Derek Reid. Derek used to believe in love, it's what he lived and breathe for. Until he watched his mother become a slut because of it. The one thing he thought was so beautiful and the cure all to mans problems no longer exist. He became cold and heartless to anyone who didn't deem themselves worthy in his eyes. He played games with girls hearts, cause them to fall in love and literally break their hearts when he doesn't return the affection. He's just that type of guy. What makes Monica stand out from anyone else was the fact she's never been in love. She didn't believe in it, her parents never fell in love. She lives with her mom during the week and her father every now and then. It just something she's never witnessed so she didn't believe in it, to her it was just a myth. So when she gets asked to play the game of love with Derek she literally can't say no.
Captain Jack (Book Three - ManxMan ManxManxWoman) by Caemarion
15 parts Complete Mature
James Bird was the quintessential football captain of his high school team. Nicknamed Jack, or Captain Jack Sparrow by his team mates and his friends (who were all also his teammates), he was taller than the other boys, better looking the the other boys, and more muscly due to his intense training regime with two professional NRL players whom played on the city team football club he was already slotted to join next year. All the girls from all the local school wanted him. Of course... now everyone (in school) has heard the rumour that Captain Jack was living with one of those NRL players - his parents had kicked him out, but no one knew why... was he a bad boy underneath that sexy exterior? And he was always strangely touchy with that other NRL player; Josh Charlatan his name was. Other students used to see them together all the time outside school and occasionally when Josh would pick him up for a workout session after the shool day. It was enough to get the rumour mill turning around academia. What was the go here? Suddenly Jack was getting a lot more attention from other boys... Josh Charlatan wasn't his first sexual partner, but definitely his first all male relationship. The more the rumour spread that Captain Jack might be gay, the more high school girls could be heard sobbing into their pillows, and the more high school boys heard jerking off in the locker room. WARNING: this is a mature rated story. If you've read my other stuff you already know this about me. I'm not going to give you anymore sexual or LGBT+ warnings. It is what it is, read it or not. ***Trigger Warning*** book contains a sexual assault scene. I won't say more about it. It is towards the end of the book.
