An angelic halfling, thrown into a brutal war - not her own. Can she survive, can humanity? Angels or Hellion, Sky hates them both, hell, she even hates half-breeds like herself. She has only known this war, waging long before her birth. Because of it she has been running all her life, leaving behind a trail of bodies- being chased by both monsters and forbidden secrets. To survive in this world she will need to adapt- learning that sometimes those deemed untrustworthy may make powerful allies and those she had given her heart to may have always been the biggest threat of all. She reads out into a microphone "The human soul name bliss, female, age 24, death unknown, and sin unknown." She pauses and looks at me then puts down my paper and speaks to the crowd "She doesn't remember anything about being alive so she is an oddity and a collectible. Shall we start the biding at 10000 hellions". All the sudden many voices shout out some low deep voices some high voices and some don't even sound like voices just gurgles. The woman who read my paper seems to be able to keep track and calls out the highest bidder. "Do I hear 65000?" Less voices shootout but they're still too many that I can't pick out. I'm being sold? Enter the forces of light. To them, genocide isn't that cool. They're like, "How about you NOT do that, 'k?" These shining paladins of hope (most of them, anyway) are trained to defend the world from these monsters. The guardians of the light are trained to protect at the 'Гэрэл Чапел' (The Chapel of Light). Jace, who came to the school expecting such, has spent years (one and a half) preparing himself to fight.
