Old Title - 'Stuck in Between'

Jo has nothing to live for but everything to die for.

So let me ask you this, how do you explain in a well-structured way how things were so fucked up?

Jo wanted to teach her siblings how to survive the post-apocalyptic world. To not see all the bad in this world. Teach them that people can live in peace and that not everyone is a killer, although everyone has killed.

The lows were gruesome and the highs were crippled, but she kept them alive no matter what it cost her.

3 Part Story

The Walking Dead seasons are from mid-season 3 to season 4 and the end of season 6 to season 8.
This is just what I based the character looks off of. The story does not follow the show thoroughly or completely only the big, major events and settings.

Disclaimer; I do not own any of the original TWD cast. All credit goes to the creators.

"As long as you're in it, Wills, I've got the world already." | *𝐔𝚸𝐃𝚨𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝚱* | Willow never thought she'd belong to a group until those two men saved her ass in the alley. After being separated from her brother in the big city, it was up to her to get her daughter to safety- until a sheriff and a pizza delivery guy came along and saved them both. The dead owned the streets of Atlanta, pushing her new group further and further out. As they encounter deadly obstacles and power-hungry survivors, the numbers in her group begin to dwindle, and she finds herself holding on to these people more and more. The struggle to maintain the groups humanity is a constant battle, but as relationships form between these strangers turned family, they're willing to carry each other as they pave the way to a new world. There's no denying that Willow has a strong bond with the younger Dixon brother. It came as a shock to everyone. They are two drastically different people, yet somehow they understand each other the most. From the moment they met at the quarry camp on the outskirts of Atlanta, their friendship was off to a rocky start. They both had shadows from their past that haunted them, but as their relationship progressed, those shadows were diminished as the flame between them grew. | [ Daryl Dixon x OC ] [ Some smutty content ] [ Slow burn ] [ Episode by episode ] [ Seasons 1 - 11 ] [CONTAINS SOME ORIGINAL PLOTS] [ Started 11/25/22 ] [ Finished : ONGOING ] | * I do not own any of the characters or story line besides Willow and her story | Highest Ranks: #1 - TWD #1 - thewalkingdead #1 - daryldixon #1 - maggiegreene #1 - rickgrimes #1 - carlgrimes #1 - normanreedus #1 - daryl #1 - reedus #1 - carolpeletier

Nell has lost everyone she ever loved. She witnessed her little brother getting tore to shreds right in front of her eyes. And to make things worse, she is alone. At this point, Nell would prefer to get eaten alive by brain-munchers. There's no point in life if she isn't even living- she's just surviving. When the last bit of canned food runs out, it forces Nell to leave her house, but she finds herself in some trouble with a brain-muncher and wakes up in a... farmhouse? Nell knows to never trust anyone, it's what her dad always told her. Before her dad died, Nell had a very strange relationship with him. He was abusive- both physically and emotionally. Nell always thought that was normal. It's normal for dads to get angry and lash out. It's normal to be punished for trying to speak... right? When she meets the group taking shelter at the farmhouse, will she run away? Is her need for a true family stronger than her loyalty to her abusive father? Or will a certain guy with a crossbow and a boy in a sheriff hat show her that life is worth living? • • • Amazing book cover by @tbr_tales !! Daryl's daughter/Carl's lover/Found family The story does not completely follow the plot of The Walking Dead. The plot line strays away from the show at times due to Nell's interference. Y/n was your average college student before the world went to shit. She lived in Atlanta with her childhood friend, Glenn, and had never once left the city after she had moved there. However, the end of the world changed that, forcing her to leave the city and wander the highway. When the city was overrun, she was separated from Glenn and forced to flee the city, which she hadn't left for years. With no idea where to go or what to do, she simply wandered down the highway. And though she may have been a city kid, she was far from useless. She was used to fighting for her life and she was used to being alone, so to say the very least, she could handle whatever the end of the world threw at her. Equipped with her trusted bow, Lucy, and her fathers vintage revolver, she was ready for anything. Dead or otherwise. She eventually came across a lost little girl, and a group of survivors hurled up on a farm. She never was a people person and never got along too well with others. Would she find a home in this group? Would they become family? Or was she doomed to wander alone? Would she ever reunite with Glenn? Her family? And would she and a certain redneck ever get along? UPDATES: DAILY. This is a fem!reader fic. Hopefully, you'll enjoy the story! If there's any mistakes let me know. And just enjoy!<33 NOTE: Obviously all characters belong to the walking dead, apart from any oc's I may add!
