Effie's lack of self-confidence is just the start of her adolescent problems. At sixteen, she's still finding herself and with her messed up family, she often feels like her whole world is falling down around her. Since her parents divorced almost two years ago, her dad's moved to the other side of the country, her mum's turned into a crazy workaholic and her lazy brother is no help either.
