Blake Adams doesn't expect to find a bloody, half conscious girl in the alley short cut home from the late shift at the local grocery store.  Blake also doesn't expect this girl to end up being Delilah Davis, the girl he's gone to school with since kindergarten who is know as the silent beauty.  Delilah doesn't talk to many people, there's really only one person she likes to talk to, her best friend Cassidy. Not many people at school have seen her talk. She blends in with the crowd and is considered a nobody.  Even though Blake doesn't know much about this wallflower he knows he can't leave her there hurt and helpless, so he picks her up and brings her home with him.  Delilah is guarded with many secrets to hide. She only has one friends so its easier to hide her secrets but Blake makes it harder when he decides that he is going to become friends with her to help her come out of her shell and maybe even tell him her secrets.  Will Blake be able to break down Delilah's walls? What are the secrets Delilah's hiding? Will Delilah open up and talk to someone other than Cassidy for the first time in years?
