He is so... innocent and untainted. Unlike me, innocent is definitely not a word to used to describe me. I watch him as he talks to other Alphas about a rogue problem. I watch the exact moment that my scent hits his nose. I signal to the girls that it is time to enter, they all smile at me; clueless to the fact that my mate is searching for me.
We walk up to the top of the stairs and a voice rings out; introducing us.
"Elani Bonne, Ivy Doux, Kelsey Salope," the young wolves eyes widen at the last name listed, the girls make their way out of the shadows and descend the stairs.
Everyone stops what they are doing to watch the stunningly gorgeous girls descend the staircase. But they were forgotten as soon as the young wolf stuttered out two simple words; "T-Taylor Mauvaise"

I felt the bed dip as he sat down on the other side but I focused solely on my task until I was done. "This is a pillow barrier. Meaning, you don't breach this side of the pillows." I instructed, my voice firm. "What if I don't want anything between us?" Phoenix said in a husky voice, and I risked a glance. Bad choice. His eyes were dark and his gaze was on my lips, to my chest, then back to my lips. "Eyes up here, buddy." I snapped the third time his eyes went down to my chest. All he did was turn off the lights. When it was dark, he whispered," Can't I admire what is mine?" I had no answer, and turned on my side. He sighed. Despite taking two naps today, I was out cold the minute my head hit my pillow. I could only hope that in the morning, the pillow barrier was still there. ***** Adira has a secret, one she would do anything to protect. She's built barriers around her heart, so strong that only the most powerful force could break them down. Adira was an Alpha's daughter, 19 years old, and didn't want a mate. As truths unfold and loyalty is put to the test, her secret comes to light. Those she loves and the ones who would hurt her without a second thought find out, and she finds out a certain Twin has her in his sights. Will she open up to Phoenix? Will he break down her walls? *COMPLETED* My head bowed in a heavy mannor, not in respect, but in trepidation. I discern his unwavering gaze over my ill silhouette. "Look at me." I opened my eyes, though it made no difference. Black is still black, all I am left with are my four senses. He will kill me if I don't look. He will kill me if I do. He will look into my sightless eyes and see my futile existence isn't worth living. He will kill me, and he will be doing the pack a justice by it. He growls a low, throaty snarl to warn me about disobeying an alpha. There will be consequences, we both know that. His lingering growls let me know he is not going to allow me to contravene his word. I steadily inch my head upwards, visibly shaking everywhere else. Maybe he won't notice my depthless eyes from across the gazebo. My life depends on it. "You're blind." ~ Monet was born into a particularly prestigious area of her wolf pack, to parents of extremely high standards. Her legacy is to become the packs next healer, but when she was born completely devoid of melanin, all her mated parents saw was a disappointment. Being born an albino wolf pup meant a lot for Monet, but it mostly meant her condition had taken her eyesight along with it. What happens when Monet meets the Alpha of a neighboring pack? Will he accept her for what she is? ~CONTENT WARNING~ This book contains depictions of physical abuse, foul language, and upsetting scenary. Everything I went through was worth it. "Don't worry, mommy's coming," I said in a baby voice hoping to comfort him even though he wasn't crying. My heart dropped in my chest when I saw it was empty. No baby in sight. "Gray!," I screamed loudly like I was getting stabbed over and over again. He ran into the nursery, scanning the area for any danger. "He's gone! Our baby's gone!" His eyebrows furrowed as his eyes softened realising what happened. Just as quick as it came, it vanished and he was back with the icy look in his eye. The one he had when we first met. For a moment, I was afraid of him going back to his old self before dismissing that thought and focusing on my missing newborn son. Don't worry, I'm coming for you, my little bubba... Book #1 in The Bonds of Fate Series "Excuse me sirs, but I think one of you dropped something." She spoke, her eyes not entirely fixed on them. Her voice was angelic, he already loved it. He found himself thinking that he would be content to listen to the sound for the rest of his life. "Thank you, beautiful." The Alpha responded quickly, motioning to one of his pack members to pick it up. "You have very good hearing." "Well, I guess it's compensation" She chuckled slightly, "I mean, these don't do me any good." She gestured towards her eyes, turning more towards where the sound of his voice had originated from.
