"I lost the baby."

“...Excuse me, you did WHAT now?"

"I lost. The baby," Max repeated, agitated.

"I'm sorry," Cher laughed, a bit hysterically. "I just heard that you lost a baby but that can't be right because HOW DO YOU LOSE A FUCKING BABY?!"

~~
You’ve always heard of schools having this thing called the “Baby Project.” Well, this isn’t like that one, because those babies are fake, and the ones at Cher’s school are real. The assignment seems simple enough:

1)	Computer generated images will pair you up with the child closest to how an actual child of you and your partner have will look like

2)	Learn all you can about your child and parenting in general because face it, chances are you’re going to be a failure

3)	Raise said child for half a year

But what the assignment failed to mention were the two not-so-small minor details:

4)	You, your partner, and your child will show up on reality TV for everyone to see how much of a major failure of a parent you are

5)	Don’t get too attached to your partner and your child. You’re only going to be with each other for six months, not forever.

Writing a memoir at only fifteen years old has taught me a lot. Giving me the time to reflect on the lessons I learned the hard way and the mistakes I've made thus far. I learned, if there is at least two sides to every story, there is at least two sides to every person. What could be a smile is a broken heart in a deeper reality. We all live in a society where nothing is as it seems, the people being more complex and astonishing than the countless novels we read. And in a world ruled by tragedies, we are the survivors. Getting through our own history, more important to us then what we read in school. We take our story one page at a time, word by word because in the end, it will all be worth it. I dedicate this memoir to the people who have been with me on my journey of self discovery, even if only in spirit. Mom- Who has made non stop sacrifices to ensure my happiness and well being. Nothing would be possible without you! Grandma- Who has inspired me and made a huge influence to the person I am now and who I'll be in the future. Callie- My own personal slave, illustrator, editor and full time best friend. You know I love you <3 Ariana Grande- My celebrity inspiration, showing me that it's ok to "love who you love, no one can judge, follow your heart and don't give up", getting me through the long and lonely nights. Be sure to buy her new album "Moonlight", hopefully to be released this year and her new fragrance "Ari" in accordance to the "Be You" campaign. Adam Young (Of Owl City)- My first artist I listened to, your songs make me think of the past and the new adventures to come. Sam Tsui- The album "Make it up" taught me to not be scared of not knowing what's going to happen next. Being young and naive Isn't necessarily a bad thing, as it brings way to new experiences, to be vulnerable and crying doesn't make you any less of a person. That we're all human and it's ok to embrace it.

Have you ever been in a situation where a one night stand mistake changes your entire life? *** "And what if I remember you or what happened that very day, that doesn't prove I'm responsible for that life growing inside you." He said, glaring down at me. I seriously can't believe this punk! "Are you trying to say I'm some slut?" "I don't know, you tell me." He said, still glaring down at me. I felt my rage rushing into my head, blocking my sense of reasoning at this moment. "You really have some nerve to refer to me as some slut, but no matter how hard you try to put or twist it to your story. It still doesn't change the fact and truth of this situation. You are responsible for this baby!" I yelled in anger. I saw a surprise look flash through his face, but he immediately covered it up and took a step back. Resting his hip on his desk, and putting both hands into his pants pocket. "Fine. How much will it take you to remove that, and after removing it?" He asked. My eyes went wide when I understood what he was talking about. He's not only an egoistic punk, but a very heartless human being. "You must be going out of your mind if you think I'll abort this child!" I half yelled at him in anger, but it seemed like my words weren't making much of an impact on him. "Why are you trying to make things more difficult for yourself? You know that night was a mistake, so why are you trying to make it such a big deal to ruin my reputation?" He said, angry. I felt hurt by his words. It was all a mistake, but it created another life growing inside me. Why do I even feel hurt? I'm not meant to be.. *** This book completed version is available on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/His-Surrogate-Heartbreak-pregnant-surrogacy-ebook/dp/B0D7SWRD4L/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1D978HK16N5GU&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.n3u7OtM5D9DGktqVEQHViw.rizlbZnq74jWRky4eCjm4Gd9B6Au_0_tnAKY2DWr4Iw&dib_tag=se&keywords=Books+by+Theodora+Chijioke&qid=1719145082&sprefix=books+by+theodora+chijioke+%2Caps%2C1662&sr=8-1

Everything in my life was pure frustration. I was not my parents' favorite. It started when I was a kid. They neglected me, and used me like a recycled trash, needed when necessary. I was not in good terms with my siblings. They could not understand the man I am. My friends ditched me a long time ago. I did not graduate High School with the highest average. My parents blamed me a lot about it and I had been a major disappointment, as the heir to their company, though I achieved the highest marks in college. I did not inherit my father's company. I was weak, they said. My brother was better than me. As if I haven't heard that before. As if it wasn't true. It was my prodigal brother, Aden Henry. It's always been him, and my sister, Alissa Marie. Aden inherited the company. Alissa became a renowned psychiatric expert with her own mental institution with one thousand patients a year. I just became a mere fashion designer, drowned in my misery with my son, Aaron Charles. My wife cheated on me. She was a predator and I was the prey. My heart turned into stone a long time ago. Even my son was not an exception. But how would I survive? I can't function properly anymore. I only needed my wife to act like a normal person, but she's gone. But now, she wants me back. What should I do? No one would dare to know the real Alvin Schemer. They've only seen the front. They never tried to go deep. But I will not trust anymore. I don't know if she was worth it. I don't know if anyone is worth it, when in the end, it's me and my tears that I hate again.

You're trying to convince yourself that it'll be fine again if you act like it while she pretends that nothing is happening. Both of you think that ignoring the fact that your relationship is dying will help the situation. But then an unplanned baby suddenly got into the picture too. That could've been the element to bring you two closer again, except for that... well, you know, neither one of you exactly have a dick. So... how is that gonna affect your relationship then? Will the cliché 'love can conquer anything' happen or is it going to fuck you both up? --------------------- Camila/You AU fanfiction It's just a one-shot from my 5H/CC compilations extended to a short story.
