After losing her best friend, Avery finds it harder and harder to find a reason for living. She feels like no one would even care if she was gone any way. After a life time of hatred it's no surprise that she feels this way.
Vic just moved to town with his brother and uncle. After meeting Avery and falling in love with her, he feels it's his mission to save her.
