After being pushed off the edge of the sky, with no means of transportation home or communication, a wingless guardian angel proceeds with her task of protecting a human being wanted by her enemy - even if this meant going against the laws she was born into.

A cry escaped my lips, and everything seemed to happen in slow-motion. Lydia batted her wings and soared up into the air, and she didn't even try to save me as I tilted backwards and fell, unable to rescue myself because of my lack of wings. Everything had happened all of a sudden - my mind was too jumbled for me to concentrate on teleporting myself back home.

So I kept staring at Lydia's dwindling figure as gravity pulled me down, and I plummeted through the clouds and made my descent to Earth.
