First and always, to my daughter.  You are the love and light of my life.  I can only hope that I can give you all that you have given me.  Childhood ends much too soon and these times will be forever etched in my memory.  Laugh, play, grow and love.  And I pray each day that you never know another moment of "darkness".

To all the children who are victims of child abuse.  May your darkness end and your light begin.  Stay strong, find peace, break the cycle - and know that you are worthy.
