Michael Kay is a fifteen year old boy who is working his way to the top. He lives kn an underground world along with the rest of civilization ever since the aliens have taken over and drove the humans into hiding. Ever since, kids have been training their whole lives to pass each level of the TBE (Take Back Earth) organization. Only the TBE can allow access to the Upper World. They have been training kids and sending only the fittest if the fit and travel back to NYC where the head of the alien organization is and disable the Death Protocol. Michael Kay makes friends along the way and only they can enter the Alien Territory and disable the Death Protocol.

Robert is living his boring old life, until one day while he is grounded in his room, he looks outside and sees a wormhole. Suddenly, he's in a entire new dimension, with talking trees and whatnot. Until one day, when he meets with Fate, Fate tells him that there is still a sliver of hope left. After Fate let him live, Robert realized that he isn't just a boring kid; but something much, much more.
