the world around the boy was grey and melancholy. it was full of the same thing, in the same shade, portraying the same emotions of depression and boredom.

the blue eyed boy had once been able to view the colour around him, it was faint... but, it was something. in the dull horizon stood faint bluey-grey colour, it wasn't a lot, but it proved to him that the stories were true.

the grey eyed boy however did not believe in such things, he had lived a life where no form of colour ever came his way. all he had was his friend, who had already accepted the grey life for what it was - much like he had done himself. when he looked to the sky, all he could see was grey. then he looked in the mirror, all he could see was grey.

in his eyes he held the entire galaxy, he was never aware that soon he would find himself plunging into blue depths instead.

were they an astronaut and a diver? no. instead just two broken souls trying to learn how to love - who, were never fully prepared to teach eachother.
