After a devastating event that occurred in the summer before senior year, Amanda Gilbert bears the loss of her best friend, Emma Jensen. Disconnecting from the world, Amanda feels alone and blames herself for best friend's death. Things not going so good in Texas, Amanda and her family move to San Diego, California for a fresh new beginning. There, she meets surfer boy Shane Adkins who not only teaches her how to forgive herself, but how to love. Will Amanda be able to move on and forgive herself for the event that changed her life?

Karley De Williams was in her senior years of high school, approaching her graduation year she was unfortunately diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, making her bipolar and very erratic. This disorder leaves rough damage on Karley's life, making friend leave her because of her acts and enhancing loneliness within her. She feels like her life is going to absolute shit until she comes across a boy, she wasn't the one to be interested in boys or truly care about them much, but this one had a different affect on her. As time carries on, Karley's relationship with this boy advances. The boy, Sebastian Grayson is not right in the mind. His home life-as well as Karley's-is not the best. His father has been abusing him mentally and physically ever since childhood, beating him and forcing him to 'toughen up' because it will only strengthen him in the real world. His mother could do nothing to stop his father's abuse, pretending that everything was fine. This story contains suicidal scenes, mature scenes, SA scenes, and mature languages.
