Imagine a tropical island; remote, lush and thriving with vibrant life. Devoid of disruption, dismay and disgust. Man itself would be out of place in such a sublime scene. Untouched. Undiscovered. Unspoilt.
Little could prepare it for an extraordinary event: one that would scar the bustling island forever.
Now imagine a mountainous tundra in the twilight zone; the silhouettes of sleeping giants sunder in the wake of the night, their only illumination coming from firepits sporadically peppered over the landscape. This world is an unfamiliar one. Alienated by unknown catastrophe. Monumental. Overwhelming. Unthinkable.
Nothing could prepare man for what would become if it: man would be changed forever.

They say the world used to turn. They say that night would follow day in an endless dance. They say that dawn rose, dusk fell, and we worshiped both sun and stars. That was a long time ago. The dance has died. The world has fallen still. We float through the heavens, one half always in light, one half always in shadow. Like the moth of our forests, one wing white and the other black, we are torn. My people are the fortunate. We live in daylight, blessed in the warmth of the sun. DARK ORBS- Gazing
What will happen when one is very calm and peaceful sweet sunlight and another is like dark and terrifying darkness of the night. When such completely opposite images will clash with each other. The sweet sunlight will be scorching or the darkness will be bright, it will be a sight worth seeing. Or a completely different world will be created which neither of these two would have wanted nor ever thought of.
Fragment: The Color Out of Space
The first time I saw the color, I thought it was a sign that things were going to work out. How could I not see those vibrant purples and cobalt blues framed in a swirling aura of chimerical colors lighting up the rumbling midnight storm clouds as a bad thing? How was I to know then that this color composed of many, but still one, was an omen while the world around us burned? That it wasn't to be our rainbow from God signaling our salvation from the madness that consumed those outside our borders? That the hues I failed to recreate with my crayons and pencils on the floor of my brother's cabin would twist and corrupt everything bathed in its light?Concluida

Without warning it began! The inevitable, I think it's fair to assume this book is not in my possession. This means I'm most likely dead. Most nights I wrestle the reason I have chosen to explain what happened, the things we did to each other, things no human being should witness. I Wright this simply to enlighten your poor soul and give you more of a chance than I had. A chance to survive what is most likely the brink of human extinction. Times are harder now and as the days go by we are less of our former selves. We have become husks floating around in a lost, desolate world. I look at this place and it still seems so alien to me, as the days roll into the nights I'm still unsure of how we got to this point. If you are reading this, you too are probably North and very much aware of what has happened to our beloved city. I feel a responsibility to inform you that you will most likely share the same fate as I have. I understand you may be wondering what's worse than death, trust me in this place death seems like a paradise compared. I do not know why I still feel so obligated to write this. To be honest most nights I think its just an escape from the madness, like a natural sedative it's the only way I can fall asleep in this hell. However I do need to clear my conscious and pay dividend for my demons. I need you to know what happened to me; I need you to know what we have become and what we are capable of. I need you to know why we have chosen to kill each other, why the smell of human flesh lingers in the air like slow roast pork on a Sunday afternoon. Why bodies litter our streets. Why things that seemed to be so impossible happen in front of our very own eyes. Why conformity i this place is the unreal ideas people live their lives by and why I was included into this group of youthful abominations. All of this might be irrelevant compared to what I am about to tell you.Concluida
