March 23, 2017, a tragedy occurs. The world decides to give in to its own pity, and fall.
Martin Riley, a sixteen-year-old boy, wakes up to a day seemingly normal, only to later find out that that's not true. As he and his closest friends enjoy each other's company, C.R.I.C.K. Labs misinterprets the abilities their recent studies have obtained.
Rotts, combative figures whom once breathed the same air as any person, now walk a life in purpose to destroy. By bite or by scratch, they may birth their own destructive desires into someone else, quickly multiplying their beings.
All Martin and his friends must do is survive. But, the harder they try, the more likely they are to die; however, the less they try, the more death becomes apparent.
Thankfully, there's something to help them. After visiting the labs, Martin gains the ability to see moments in the future before they happen. When someone his heart has truly connected with dies, he is rewarded the chance to change those events. But every second chance has a rebounded consequence...

Nobody expects something supernatural to happen to them. Those kind of things only happened in comics. Fairy Tales. Unrealistic dreams that you'd fall asleep to, silently wishing for them to come true.
At least, that was what these three teenagers thought.
It turns out that there is so much more to their simple universe than they ever could have imagined. After each finding a strange alien artifact, the teens are suddenly thrusted into an intergalactic war. Alien species everywhere are trying to hunt down the most powerful weapons in the galaxy.
And they are the ones in possession of it.
When they run into a girl that claims to be from another planet, the three kids learn about the power given to them and the responsibilities that come along with it. Instantly, they are the most popular people in the galaxy.
And for once, popularity couldn't feel more like a curse.
Fighting grudges, fear, and distrust, the Chosen humans must travel to the one place on Earth where they might be safe. And with strange new powers, the teenagers struggle to live in the unfamiliar world they thought they knew so well.
