"Who even are you?" I whisper,  lain on the floor,  cupping my swelling jaw. 

"Draco Malfoy." He growled, fist clinched at his side, those mercury eyes I knew so well cold as stone watching me. 

"No.... you aren't." I murmured,  lifting my gaze to meet his.  "You're not the real Draco, even if that's who you think you are."

"I AM THE REAL DRACO BLOODY MALFOY!!!" He bellowed, stepping threatening in my direction as I pulled myself up indian style on the floor before him, reminding me of a day long past.

"You're the Draco your father wants you to be. The dutiful son and mindless follower of a madman... and I won't allow it...I won't allow him to twist you into the monster that will surely devour the boy I fell in love with." 

I sprang up in a flash,  slamming Draco into the wall behind him,  dragging his lips down to mine, and time froze for me in that perfect moment for just an instant as I tasted the mouth of the man I loved... just before the curse hit me in the side and my gaze breifly connecting with panicked silver eyes as I was surrounded by death eaters and slumber took me.
