When a rising centrist candidate campaigns in New York, a series of unlikely events leads four different individuals into investigating a threat on his life. 
 
April, 1992. Unlicensed PI John Baxter and his aloof partner, Rosalyn Smith, find themselves entangled with a frustratingly vague centrist candidate for president, Ralph Barrow. Rosalyn tries to uncover a scandal involving his assistant, Christine Short, while Baxter is hired to defend him from it. Meanwhile, the son Barrow's lawyer, Baxter and Rosalyn's friend Lance Donovan, soon discovers that Christine Short undermine Barrow's candidacy. At the same time, Baxter and Rosalyn's secretary, a woman nicknamed Danger, accidentally sets into motion the events that lead the other three to believe the plot against Barrow is real.

It changes the way of living but in some aspects, but humanity stays the same. The cycle repeats itself and you can always find similarities.
