You Only Live Once, Right?

If anyone knows that life can be a bitch, it is Carrington. What else does Carrington think is a bitch? Self pitying assholes. All she wants to do is fade into the shadows and get out of school, while managing to not tell everyone her sob story. Those things make her gag.
She lives alone in a house her family once lived in, the place she is supposed to be living in with her older brother and legal guardian, but he dipped a year ago. Unfortunately this means that she has to go to school and keep herself under the radar until she is 18, cause if anyone finds out that she is living alone, her little life away from everyone, will be taken away.
She doesn't have many friends except for Paige, her best friend and binge-drinking buddy. They have been friends for years. Then there are the boys in her life, Tristan and Jake, or as Carrington likes to refer to them as, 'dumb and dumber'. They have been around for practically her whole life. They know her story and were more like family than anyone else. Finally there is the new boy Tyler who challenges her private life, and makes his attraction to her very clear. Hormones strike up between the two almost instantly.

What could go wrong right?
