"Do ever just sit there and stare at them?"
"Stare at what?" he asked groggily
I tilted my head back and laid on his stomach. The stars stood out against the pitch black sky.
"The sky"
"No why?"
"Ever since that night, the crash I mean, I have tried to find every way possible to be closer to them and not feel so alone. For some reason when I see the stars and the constellations that map the sky it makes me feel like they are right next to me."
He sat up half way leaning on his elbows and stared into my eyes
