"I swear to god! You need to back up!" I yelled gripping my frying pan tightly in my hands.
She looked up at me confused, but mostly confused. "Why are you pointing that at me? I just saved your life."
I looked at the intruder who laid on my kitchen floor unconscious. God I hope he's unconscious. "Is he dead?" I asked taking a step back.
"No. Well I don't think he is."
This was the first day I met her. One of the world's strongest vampire who soon became my roommate. God I don't think my life has ever been this complicated.

I stripped off My clothes and got in the shower. Then, I herd a loud gunshot. I grabbed a robe off the bathroom rack and put it on. I went downstairs searching for a answer to what my ears just heard. My heart raced as I took each step. soon only to see a man in all black standing fighting with Brooklyn on the floor. Then, before anything. BAM! Another gun shot went off right in front of me. I had no Idea what just happened. I screamed and the man realized what he did so he dropped the gun and ran . On his way out he crashed into the wall the crawled out the door. I quickly turned on the light and ran over to Brooklyn. Blood gushing out his head.I grabbed the phone from the couch then I was on the phone with 911. It rang then a Lady was on the phone. "Hello 911, what's your emergency?" "Please help me. Bang! I sat bolt upright. Did I imagine that? That noise? What was it? I clambered out of bed and almost fell down the stairs with the panic that had set in. "What do you want?" I demanded, making the futile attempt to shove him away though he didn't move an inch. "I want what is mine." He replied with a low growl that sent chills up my spine. My back was still pressed firmly against the wall and I think I was in shock to move. Though I felt safe which made me feel sick, how could I be safe in the presence of him? "No." I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. "No?" He repeated my words back to me and I boiled the kettle for a cup of tea. " I scrub and scrub trying to make it go away. I'd happily go back to walking around internally dead than whatever this is. As I stand under the scalding hot stream staring into nothing my mind falls silent for a split second. A few seconds of solace until everything comes crashing back. The tightness in my chest and my stomach, the cloudiness in my brain, the anger, the sadness. It all comes back. I sit down away from the shattered pieces of tile, curling my legs up and letting the near boiling water hit my back. There was a feeling of relief in losing everything I was.
