Thomas was only twelve when he made it to Camp Half-Blood and was claimed by his father Apollo.It's his second summer at Camp and Thomas finds he fits in too well. He'll never stand out like the Heroes of Olympus. No awesome powers, no special backstories, nothing that sets him apart from the rest.
Maria Sendito is new to Camp, she doesn't like sharing details but is up for anything. Alexander Johnson is having a rough time fitting in with the Aphrodite kids. They push him out for small things like a stray hair or last season shoes.
But miraculously, these three nobodies get pulled into a quest that may bring their rise to the Heavens (or more accurately, Olympus.)
