In a land of Dragons and magic, chaos rules in the form of a brutal king and bloodthirsty Crown Prince, balmed only by a kind queen and a compassionate young prince striving for more than the throne of bones and bloody birthright that awaits his older brother. 

But life for the people of Irrin just might change when the two fabled Eggs of Old, long-ago gifts from the dwindling dragons, begin to crack, foretelling the grim future of the kingdom. Locating the riders to accompany the Dragons is also another tough matter to resolve

The hatching eggs are brought around the kingdom to seek out their riders, breaking as they approach their fated partners. 

A foreign Queen stumbles upon her birthright in a strange land, a gentle Prince discovers the truth of power, a Knight must balance duty with his heart, and a village girl learns to manage life as a Champion to her country, all while pretending to be who the King wants her to be.

All four hold the fate of Irrin in their hands.
