Ngunit sa likod ng kanilang lakas, nakatali ang isang sumpa. Kapag ang kanilang galit ay umapaw, lilitaw ang wangis ng halimaw-isang nakakatakot na anyo na maaaring pumatay ng inosente. Isang sumpa na maaari ring maging biyaya: dahil sa oras na makita sila sa anyong ito, kapalaran na ng kanilang kalaban ang kamatayan. Ngayon, ang apat na babae ay naging bahagi ng kwento ng mga prinsipe. Ang akala nila'y sila ang sumusulat ng kanilang kapalaran sa loob ng libro-ngunit ang totoo, sila mismo ang isinulat.
