Who Would've Thought isn't your every day "boy meets girl and they fall in love, the end" love story. Maeve Hill is a junior in high school. She has a challenging life and problems just like the rest of us. With difficulties in her home life and trouble at school. Regardless of her beauty and intelligence, that she has a hard time believing she has, she doesn't have many friends. In fact, she only has one. Her best friend, Freya. Matthew Espinosa is definitely your average, dare I say stereotypical, high school guy. He keeps a close circle - everyone knows and adores him. Girls want to be with him and the guys wanna be his friend. He loves it. He doesn't want that power to slip through his fingers. One word to describe him would definitely be an asshole. Maeve would agree. Matthew hasn't always "hated" Maeve, but going into high school things changed. High school is very different from elementary and middle school. At least in their small town anyway. Matthew wanted to keep his popularity and relevance in high school, so that's when the switch flipped for the both of them. But could there be a knight in shining armor for her? Maeve meets Shawn Mendes and he becomes a bright light in her life as their friendship develops. Shawn would be good for her. He knows he could be good for her. She thinks there could potentially be something there..right? Now what kind of story would it be without obstacles and changes? There's no telling where the end will take us. Will Shawn be there to save her? Cadence hasn't always had the best life, Her parents divorced when she was 11 the same year her bestfriend Jacques parents decided to just up and leave New York taking away her bestfriend. After her parents divorce was finalized and her dad had been granted full custody of her cadence mom had relocated to California. Cadence wasn't to happy about living with her dad and the woman he had cheated on her mom with but since he was making the most money out of the two being that her mom had no income because she was a stay at home mom it was the way it had to be.
