Stories come in many shapes, sizes and genres. They're told by many people, young and old. Some stories may be true, some are false, some are myths and others were created to scare children into not disobeying their parents. They can be told anywhere and everywhere; around a campfire, under a pillow fort, to a child in bed, on a stage or in a library.
What if though those campfire stories were true? Those stories about someone following you in the shadows, about a man in the woods, or the cries in the night. Would you write about it, or let the story of truth gather dust in your mind?
Everyone has a story just waiting to be told.

In Haltonshaw Grove, we tell these real life horror stories to our kids like bedtime tales. They help us learn from a young age to stay out of the forest after dark. But one halloween, we didn't listen- Me and four boys. We broke the rules and we paid the price. We barely made it out alive and now we live with the trauma, the nightmares, the memories. Seven years later, the events of that night, like most things tend to do around here, have come back to haunt us.
