I wanted to turn away but it was too late he pulled the trigger and I witnessed the bullet go straight through his head, splattering blood and ending the man's wailing. His eyes were cold and lifeless, and there was red liquid pouring out from the side of his gaping mouth and his head.

My body felt numb and I could feel the bile rising in my throat as I fell back onto the cold hard pavement behind the dumpster.

"There, that finally shut him up." the shadow said with an icy cold voice, slipping the gun back into his pocket.

Logan has finally returned to the station to find out that he has to watch over Julie when he'd rather be doing something that requires more of his skill. He didn't know how difficult it would be to keep an eye on Julie or how rebellious she is and realized she might be more trouble than she's worth.

The last thing twenty-two-year-old Julie had expected was that she'd be a witness to a murder done by none other than one of the infamous gang leader Allen. With her life now at stake will she be able to survive with the help of Officer Logan?
