ARDELLE WAS A FRIEND OF MANY PEOPLE.
She was smart; but she was set on improving her Potions skills, to help one of her best friends with his condition : Lycanthropy.

Remus was a werewolf.
For years, he has struggled to fit in with others, even though James, Sirius, Peter and Ardelle help him. Remus can't find a way to be normal.

Ardelle helps him.

Not to become normal; no. Witches and Wizards were not meant to be normal.

Ardelle finds a way to stop Remus from suffering so much every time the Full Moon approaches.

The two of them learn to appreciate the silver light of the moon just a little bit more.
