this story is like 'He forgot' but it's not at the same time...
when barry wakes up from his coma he sees a face he never thought he'd see again the random woman who kissed him in the rain but she looks diffrent, older that's when she tells him that he's been in a coma for 9 months he freaks out and leaves un knowingly leaving caitlin heart broken.
They realise he's lost him memory of the last 5 years and with no where to go he stays at STAR labs.
he begins to noitce that the woman who kissed him in the rain is sad she's a mystery to him one he needs to solve.

This is a snowbarry plot. The story is based on the last season(however Barry never vanished in the future. So he raises his children). Nora isn't the only one that travels back in time to meet her parents. A second speedster appears in Central City a couple of months after Nora has settled with her parents, challenging what is meant to be impossible. We know Caitlin Snow doesn't believe in destiny, at least not for her. Every person she's loved has either died or they leave at one time or another. Her heart has been broken too many times and she can't afford to keep picking up the pieces. Her heart is frozen solid. She is meant to be alone. No marriage, no husband, no family. She doesn't get to live the fairytale dream. That dream died along with Ronnie. Cisco has Gypsy. Joe has Cecile. Barry has Iris and now he has Nora. A daughter born out of love. Barry has always loved Iris and Caitlin could never fathomed the idea of someone ever loving her the way Barry loved Iris. Nora symbolized what Caitlin wished she had. It was weird to think that she had watched him sleeping for 9 months. She knew that Cisco would make some Captain America related reference to that, one of Colsen's lines, she was pretty sure, but it was true. She had stood by his bedside, held his hand, heck, she had stroked his hair to calm him down one evening she was watching him. And now, she was actually having her first conversation with him. And she had told him to pee in a cup. Who does that? That's just not something that people say. Then she had gone into full doctor mode and started prodding his chest muscles. That had been weird. Yes, she had technically know him for 9 months, but he had just met her. He talked with Wells, got the run down on his condition, and the entire time Caitlin was silent. She didn't add anything medical, for once in her life, because this was probably the strangest thing that had ever happened to her. A project that she had spent nine months of her life on, a project that had been her life for nine months, was now not just a project. He was a person. And he was actually pretty cute.

Yes, sounds awesome right? Well, it can be, but it also can't be. She's a metahuman. Yep, you heard right. She was struck with that lighting in the same night Barry Allen was. Then, after the nine months of being in the hospital, she woke up. Then she ran. Her emotions hit, and she temporarily slowed down time in order for her to make a five mile walk in under three minutes. Call it, un-super speed if you'd like. She was confused. She had no clue how that happened, but she had to find how. Now, she was extremely smart. She did research. Then she saw many reports on the news about this man called "The Streak". She thought it was... Odd. The whole concept of superheroes and super humans. It was to unreal and childish for her. She didn't like the title 'superhero'.
