In a world where history repeats itself twelve heroes must rise to the challenge and defend the world from ancient foe's. However, the world has been pumping out the heroes of legends for centuries, seemingly flawless and perfect, but not capable enough to win. However what will happen when the world suddenly creates twelve flawed heroes?

Based on the game 'dragon quest 9' but you don't need any knowledge of the game to understand this book.
