Bruce Wayne never thought he'd love anyone again after his parents died but a small dark haired boy taught him differently and he learned to love himself and others. Robin did not die. The first Robin really was that small. Batman couldn't hate Mr. Freeze. They were too alike. He wanted to hate him though.
