Flora did not remember her exact reaction to the news, nor did she remember the colour of her nails or the cereal she was eating. None of these details were important to keep. What she does remember was feeling no less than distraught. She had barely ever taken the bus by herself, let alone go to school in America. It was probably because she never really expected all of it to actually happen, that she didn't ever imagine herself falling for a boy. Especially, a beautiful one called Romeo Moretti. A beautiful boy who was as equally intelligent and funny but had a slight catch to him. He was completely and utterly taken. But who knows, one whole year in America could change a lot of things if only she steps forward boldly.
