"You can't outrun the devil." He said, a sly grin forming on his lips.
"Well why not?" I asked.
He picked up a tome off the table next to him and shrugged as he flipped through the pages. "Because."
"Because?"
The sly grin returned. "Because he's the devil."

Seventeen year old William "Will" Pinnup has had his entire life handed to him: popularity, acceptance, good grades, and now true love comes for him in the blink of an eye.
Jasper Reddings, with his dyed silver hair, deep set ocean blue eyes that seem to glow in the moonlight and the way he seems to know everything William's thinking, all is too good to be true in William's world.
A few weeks pass in their relationship, homecoming week coming to a close when William notices something off about himself. Total darkness has begun to take the place of where his memories should be.
Does this have something do with Jasper or is something else unexplained? Whatever it may be he has to hurry for time is running out and he's falling head first into a world he never knew existed.
