Infection
It starts with a simple itch, nothing more. Maybe a few random spasms or the occasional shudder but you'll think nothing of it. Then you'll get blood shot eyes... Not enough sleep? It gets worse, much worse. The itching turns to scratching, clawing at you skin until it bleeds... and bleeds and bleeds. Then comes the anger which tips you over the top making you brake into a full blown seizure. Madness. You still with me? Well you won't be if they catch you, you'll be one of them...infected.Complete

Through her tears, she heard strange groans coming from the next stall. "Ugh, someone has food poisoning," she thought. But when the stall door swung open, the slouched figure that emerged was not sick-it was dead, with lifeless eyes and decaying flesh. Sarah opened her mouth to scream just as the infected co-worker lunged at her. She was trapped, as the entire office went into lockdown due to a zombie outbreak. But during a zombie apocalypse, when you get desperate, you're desperate. When you're out of options, you need to do what you need to do to survive every day. Sometimes, it might not always be ideal. But when push comes to shove, when you're barely alive and should be dead, the people who you don't know may just save you. Surviving without enemies is hard enough. But when the past comes back to haunt and enemies come to fight, the apocalypse may just become almost impossible to survive. Brains and brawn may not be enough. It takes heart to make it day to day. They knew it would be hard. They didn't know it would be next to impossible to survive. This is a story my friend and I wrote together. It took us about a year to complete.
