Baylor and willow fell in love with each other back in high school when they were still kids. Together they have made it through life until 20. But they've run into a problem, as much as they love each other, they can't love themselves.

Baylor finds herself struggling with blocking out memories from her neglectful and abusive childhood with drinking. After 4 years of sobriety, she finds herself back in the rabbit hole. Baylor cuts herself off from the world and struggles to even lift up the pencil to write another novel. She pushes herself into her work and forgets about the world, including Willow.

Willow is searching for answers on why her sister killed herself. She struggles to deal with the grief while also battling with a long time friend, eating disorder. She can't seem to paint or draw anymore and often times finds herself staring at a wall. She couldn't save her sister and is worried she won't be able to save Baylor either.

The girls decide to take a break and pack up for a month, spending time away from each other to find themselves again to better their relationship. Baylor goes off to find more about her family while Willow returns to her home to begin to cope and grieve with her family over her sisters death.

A story about sacrifice and faith and trust in partners. A story of strength and courage. A story about love. One that teaches that as much as you love someone, you can't force them to love themselves
