It's been one year since the battle for Mewni went down star butterfly and Marco Diaz had a great summer in Mewni then went back to Earth to continue school. It has been one week after star and Marco finished there 11th grade year . They are now preparing to go spend another summer on Mewni . Star and Marco are both super excited to return they both learned and explored so much last summer. They also may have gotten into a little trouble with stars parents but that's in the past. Stars relationship with her mother has gotten so much better she has been a lot more open and understanding. King Butterfly and Queen Butterfly have taken Marco under there wings as did his parents do for Star. They watch over Marco and have been training with him and Star to improve there fighting skills . There is still one question that no one has asked . Does Star still have a crush on Marco ?
