A young female wolf is forced to leave her home after it is take over by humans and destroyed. When the world starts to become more dangerous for the wolves, they decide to take the risky, but also safe plan into transforming into humans to fit along. when this teenage wolf is forced to go to school and meets an "annoying" teenage human boy, now she has two problems to handle, trying to stay safe, and dealing with this guy.

"So you really wanna know this story?" Grandma Fran said, slowly rocking in her chair. I nodded my head eagerly and begged, "Pleaseee!" She chuckled at my enthusiasm, "Fiiine, it all started with your mother, rest her soul-" she looked at me sadly, "she was a special kind of werewolf, a wolf the Moon Goddess hadn't put on this earth for over a century till her. She was called a breeder wolf." I cut her off with my question, "What's that?!" She looked nervous, "It's what a special female werewolf was before mates existed. They helped populate the first generations of werewolves. When they were old enough they went into heat, but it's much worse than an average she-wolfs. It lasts around a month and men would come to help her get better. Then as a 'thank you' she granted them a pup from her magic belly." I giggled at her silly term as another question flooded my mind, "How'd they help her?" I tilted my head to the side expectantly, "You're far too young now pup, next time when you're older." When I turn the corner I see a boy about 20 and am hit with an overpowering smell something like fresh cut wood and autumn leaves. It is amazing. I see the guy turn towards me and duck behind the house I am standing by before he sees me. Nope! Not him! Not happening! I hear footsteps coming towards me and run. Into the woods I find a pine tree. Perfect! Pine trees are great hiding places. The branches hide you visually and the smell masks your scent. I climb up as quickly as I can and watch the guy approaching. He circles my tree looking around but eventually gives up and goes back towards the houses. "Mate!" My wolf happily purs. "Not him!" I respond. "Denial." She says. "Refusal." I counter and she growls at me. "You will NOT reject him!" She orders. "He is a bully!" "He is mate!" "He commanded that kid when he could have just talked to him! He is a bully with no patience!" "He is an Alpha!" She purrs with pride at his rank. I don't care! "I don't want him!" "One by one, the beasts neared the town as they followed from behind the white wolf. As the villagers fled into their homes, the priest and his daughters gathered the day-hunters to his side. They watched as the approaching monsters stood and stalked the village fence. The wolf was strong and smarter than the rest. Even in its guttural snarling voice, it managed to speak to the priest. 'You've trespassed too long. Abandon your homes or forsake your lives.' The priest refused without hesitation and stared the ten-foot wolf down."
