After leaving behind what they worked so hard to save, the Pevensie's find themselves separating. Peter and Susan have left behind their youngest siblings to visit America, while Edmund and Lucy are sent to live with their disturbingly rude cousin, Eustace Scrubb.
Meanwhile, the two newest rulers of Narnia have set sail on the Dawn Treader to find the lost seven lords, and may pick up something from the water on their journey.

A message from Aslan reaches the Pevensies; they can save Edmund if they go to Narnia, for the illness will not exist in that world. All 4 can go, but Edmund will never be able to return, for if he does he will die. When the siblings arrive in Narnia they hear Caspian has called them, for trouble has been stirring.
