Jake Freeman couldn't have a more boring life up until when he was 13, his mother and father divorce, neither parent was fit to have custody of him so he went to live with his Uncle in Indonesia. One afternoon, Jake went exploring and found an abandoned scientific research lab. His uncle and him decide to see what was in the prehistoric ruin. Their discoveries shock the world. So much that the Japanese government paid a 15.3 million Yen investment in the research. Shortly after, Jake and his uncle were on a freight ship to talk to the Head Minister of The Japanese Institute of Technology when the ship got hit by a underwater thermal vent, causing the ship to sink into the black abyss. Jake is the only known survivor of the horrific ship-wreck. And this is his story.
