In the year 2056, robots and humans are now co-existing on planet Earth. When this first began, in the year 2020, the majority of humankind was skeptical, cautious, scared even. However, the robots have earned most of the human population's trust over the years. Some humans are still rebelling against this new law of having to live in unity with these machines, and are quite angry with what seems like robots replacing them, whether it be their jobs or in their own homes. While some humans are writhing in hatred, robots have developed excessive skills and knowledge, much more than they've had since they were originally created. Robots have now advanced so much, in fact, that they are able to develop human emotions, human feelings, and act as humans while feeling as if they truly are human beings. The portion of human beings who resent robot-kind are unsure of whether or not this will have a positive outcome, however some robots are just as afraid and unsure as those few humans are. Like humans, robots have also developed different mindsets on how they're supposed to live with humans, according to the sacred law. Most of the robots are programmed to follow certain rules and to abide by certain laws. Some of the robots are obedient, while others refuse to live under the rules of human beings. However, all of these robots, no matter how different their mindsets may be, no matter what they are programmed to believe or what they've re-programmed themselves to believe, they are all still robots, AI's, andriods, man-made machines, and they must all abide by the sacred law: Robots are prohibited to live and to serve under humankind, by any means necessary. Those who choose to disobey are to either be reprogrammed or permanently deactivated.

I'm an artist with words, not book covers... Android Captain Lancieta Steegle, and an engineer from Earth named Mannie end up relying on each other for more than survival when a war is thrust onto the people of Earth. In a desperate attempt to deal some kind of blow to the Halgred, the Andromedian collective okayed a Shadow Operation to attack the Halgred Homeworld. The weapon was illegal, a bio-weapon designed to sterilize and weaken their almost otherworldly physiology. When this weapon is instead redirected to Earth by the Halgred King, Draconisis, those whom survive undergo a change. As they wake up, the people of Earth are greeted by horror of their new animalistic physiology, and for some, unimaginable abilities. The 20 or so surviving Androids of the once thousands-strong crew of the Dreadnought-Class battleship do their best to make amends and help the humans of Earth adjust to their new Bestial Planet and the even more dangerous intergalactic community. This story is "Complete" as in the last chapter was written and it's gone through about 3 re-writes and 4 rounds of editing since. Very few stories are ever finished, as we know, because there's always something we think can be or should be changed. However, I've learned that the best I can do is get it to the point where I feel comfortable with someone else reading it. Otherwise I'd never have posted anything anywhere.
