"It's so pointless being here if I'm just a target." Harrison thought as he drew on his desk. Harrison Mayfield has always been an outcast. His school life is filled with mediocre grades and an bullies pushing him into lockers. His home life isn't much better. Harrison, one day, is given an assignment form his teacher. He questions if this small piece of homework could change who he is or if everything will stay the same.

Next door, Wynn Jennings ponders her "perfect" life. Dating the star soccer player, outstanding grades, a rich family, it seemed like she had everything. But she wasn't happy. All she ever wanted was across the street. She wants to be friends with Harrison but she can never get to him. Wynn stares into his window watching him write on a piece of paper
