I Remember Once

In my teens I was always inventing new things and tinkering. I used to spend hours listening to a popular pop music station in Montreal on an old radio. The rotating on/off button also controlled the volume. I wanted to rig a new switch independent of the one/off switch and volume. I found an old electrical lever in may Dad's workshop that I thought I could use. I couldn't find an electrical cord so I used my Dad's electric shaver cord.

Needless to say the plan backfired and I nearly burnt down our house.
