Upon a Broken Heart

Jacey has always been told she is perfect the way she is. The thing though is she doesn't feel perfect. Starring into the mirror isn't something she's looks forward to. With a scar running up her jaw, and her blue eye. It just doesn't feel right. Being teased by peers is one thing, but when children question her looks it's another. When her mother and aunt are ripped from her life, Jacey tries to a just. But with her father a budding acoholic and the struggles that come along with high school, Jacey finds life becoming more unbearable. Trying to cope Jacey does the only thing she feels like she can ever do. Run away. She can't even properly run being confined to a wheel chair. But maybe in all that running and hiding, when she walks she'll find what she needs the most.
