"Why do you care so much about what they think of you?" he questioned as his attention demanding emrald eyes contected with my dull brown ones. For the first time an amused smirk wasn't playing on his face and I could tell that he was actually serious. 
"In this world appearance is everything" I softly let out, my eyes drifting down to the ground. Kyle softly grabbed my chin and tilted it up so I was forced to look at him. 
"All I want is the real you" he confessed before softly and yet passionitally pressing his lips to mine. 

Popularity comes at a price. Dakota has the joy of having many friends, dating the hottest guys and being envied by all but with this comes with the constant need to be perfect and the fear of what people think.  When Kyle transfers to her school he is able to see through her facade immediately and ends up challenging her to a bet. They give each other dares to test how much humiliation they can really stand. Will this bet complete destroy what self confidence Dakota has left or finally allow her to break free of her shackles?
